Vaccine & Flu Shot Updates

We are preparing to order COVID-19 vaccine from RIDOH and will begin scheduling as soon as we receive approval.

  • Eligible: All infants and children 6 months and older.

  • The AAP specifically recommends vaccination for all children ages 6–23 months and for older children with high-risk conditions.

Upcoming Flu Clinics

  • Wednesday, October 8th: Morning flu clinic available.

  • More flu clinic dates will be added weekly throughout the season — please check back often for updates.

Scheduling Notes

  • New Patients: If your child’s first visit with us will be for a flu shot (or RSV vaccine after October 1st), the appointment must be scheduled as a Meet & Greet visit, not a shot-only visit.

Island Visitors

While we would love to accommodate all the vacationers visiting the island, we do not have the resources to absorb visitors. We feel strongly that it is important to protect those patients we do currently serve to not expose them to traveling patients with whom we do not have medical records or up to date vaccination records on. We have an obligation to serve the existing patients that we do have and do not accept walk ins from pediatric patients who are not our patients. If you would like to become a full time patient, we would welcome you to the practice, otherwise there are several urgent cares who do serve adult and pediatric patients in the area where care can be provided.

We know that colds and flu don’t take a break on nights and weekends. That is why we don’t take a break either. We are here for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
