WHAT SETS AQUIDNECK PEDIATRICS APART FROM THE REST...
AT AQUIDNECK PEDIATRICS WE KNOW YOUR CHILD IS UNIQUE. THAT IS WHY WE BELIEVE STRONGLY IN DOING THINGS DIFFERENTLY
For over 50 years we have been practicing top quality medical care for the families of Newport County. Over those years we have been consistently dedicated to providing robust evidence based medical care combined with a child friendly environment.
We were part of the first practice in Rhode Island to become a level three Patient Centered Medical Home, American Medical Society’s highest designation for systematic, patient centered, care managed process.
We know that when your little one is sick you need accessible help that day. This is why we have a walk in every morning as well as sick visits throughout the day to make sure you can be seen when you need it most. We also have appointments available on Saturdays.
We believe you deserve access to your pediatrician 24/7, which is why we have a doctor on call to answer your question at any time, nights or weekends. We also welcome connection through our Patient Portal at any time so you have vital patient information available to you and can contact us though a text for any questions.
We know that colds and flu don’t take a break on nights and weekends. that is why we don’t a break either. We are here for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Weekly themes
Each program consists of its own weekly theme and activities, so your child has something new to anticipate with each week.
Supplies you own
You’ll be able to utilize or recycle supplies you already have at home to complete lesson activities. We’ll provide you with alternative options as well.
Age-level learning
Our programs are curated for two different age groups, so every lesson offers the appropriate level of engagement for your little ones.

Vaccine Information
As medical professionals, we confirm that vaccinating children on schedule with currently available vaccines is absolutely the right thing to do for all children and young adults. We confirm that based on all available literature, evidence and current studies, vaccines do not cause autism or other developmental disabilities. We confirm that that vaccinating children and young adults may be the single most important health-promoting intervention we perform as health care providers, and that you can perform as parents/caregivers. All of our own children have received each and every recommended vaccine according to the recommended schedule. We would be happy to discuss concerns or questions, and would be happy to share information based on scientific study and data-gathering on millions of children by thousands of our brightest scientists and physicians.
In order to protect our current patients who for medical reasons are unable to be vaccinated, we will no longer be accepting any patients that do not vaccinate. If you should absolutely refuse to vaccinate your child despite all our efforts, we will ask you to consider finding a different practice that shares your views. We do not keep a list of such providers, nor would we recommend any such physician. Please recognize that by not vaccinating you are putting your child at unnecessary risk for life-threatening illness and disability, and even death.
